Oakwood Cemetery is the largest of seven cemeteries in the town of Nunda, Livingston County, New York. Since the 1820's Oakwood has been the resting place for generations of local residents.

Whether you are in need of burial lot, doing family history, or just want to explore a historic and beautiful place, we hope you find this website helpful and will visit Oakwood Cemetery soon.

Spring 2026:  Oakwood is awakening for another year.  Spring Clean Up is underway!   We are again pleased to have  Tony Mess and his crew  back as mowers this year!    Watch for some special projects this spring - stonemason John White is repointing our historic Soldier's Monument and we will have a new walkway to the Memorial Boulder completed by Memorial Day      We are also currently looking for volunteers who would like to help fill Find a Grave requests for our cemetery.  If you are interested leave a message on our Facebook page or send an email to tscook@rochester.rr.com.
